Mr. Espresso was founded by Carlo DiRuocco in 1978. Carlo was a pioneer in the specialty coffee industry, playing a major role in the introduction of espresso to the San Francisco Bay Area, West Coast, and beyond. The company continues to be family-owned and operated. Six family members across two generations of Di Ruoccos work together in the Oakland roasting facility everyday to ensure that what began over 30 years ago will continue to thrive.
Coffee Bar is a workshop to explore, experiment, and embrace the trends of the coffee industry, and to properly reflect the progressive nature of Mr. Espresso to the public.
